The University of Glasgow is seeking to recruit a Lecturer (Criminology- LTS track) to contribute to the delivery of an excellent student experience by contributing to teaching across a portfolio of criminology undergraduate and postgraduate courses, assessment and administration processes associated with these courses; and undertake scholarship to enhance learning and teaching in School of Social and Political Sciences.

The successful candidate will be part of a collegiate and committed team of criminologists based within the Scottish Centre for Crime and Justice Research (SCCJR). The post is open to those with broad criminological interests, but we are ideally seeking candidates with expertise in either gender-based violence, policing or justice.

For appointment at Grade 8, the postholder will make a substantial contribution to delivering and leading a range of teaching, supervision and assessment activities, across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in the School.

This position is full time (35 hrs per week) This post is to cover maternity leave for up to 12 months or until the substantive postholder returns.
